A limited number of reduced-fee spaces are available for individuals whose insurance I am not in network with and who would otherwise be unable to access services. These spots are limited and may not always be available.

Insurance
I am currently in-network with the following insurance providers:
• Blue Cross Blue Shield
• United Healthcare
• UMR
• Optum
If I am not in network with your insurance provider, you have two options:
Pay privately for services
Seek out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance provider (if your plan allows for out of network benefits)
Clients are responsible for understanding their own insurance benefits, including deductibles, copays, coinsurance, coverage limitations, and out-of-network benefits.
It is recommended that you contact your insurance company prior to your first appointment to verify your behavioral health coverage.
For reference when verifying benefits the following billing codes are commonly used in my practice:
90791 – Psychotherapy assessment (initial intake session)
90837 – 55–60 minute psychotherapy session
90834 – 45–50 minute psychotherapy session
All clients are required to keep an active credit or debit card on file, which will be charged at the time of service for session fees, deductibles, co-pays, or coinsurance.

All clients are required to keep an active credit or debit card on file.

How Does Out-of-Network Reimbursement Work?
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may still be able to receive partial reimbursement for therapy services even if I am not contracted with your insurance provider.
The process typically works as follows:
• You pay the full session fee at the time of service
• I provide you with a Superbill (a detailed receipt containing billing codes and required information)
• You submit the Superbill to your insurance company
• Your insurance provider may reimburse you directly for a portion of the cost
Reimbursement rates vary widely depending on your insurance plan.
IBefore starting services, you may want to contact your insurance provider and ask:
• Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
• What percentage of the fee is reimbursed?
• Is there a deductible that must be met first?
Want to work together?
Finding the right therapist matters. If my approach and areas of focus seem like a good fit, the next step is to check my current availability and submit an inquiry.
